In prayer all the meditation of Nature and of things made become hidden and pale, to the Eternal now which exists with God in Christ. Eternity is not in time, it is not the infinite past or the infinite future. Eternity is now. The Now does not move across the time line. There is no time with God. That box will never fit Him. Time to us is a seeming moving world of objects. Eternity does not move and is steadfast and unshakable. It goes nowhere and will not forsake us. Eternity allows objects to move and give the sense of time. Eternity is never subject to time. There is only the Eternal now, and within this Now… the unmoving timelessness of Now there is for us a sense of a past or a future because we have given more importance to objects than the Now. Father Abba I pray that we do not forsake our communion with You and that we find the yoke easy when we are in the secret chamber. May Your Eternal Spirit be One with us. And I pray personally that objects in motion never become eye candy and a distraction as I follow your Will. Amen
